As part of APIGA Philippines 2026, I took part in an online outreach and engagement session where I spoke about Internet Governance (IG) coordinating bodies and the role they play within the broader Internet governance community. The session focused on helping participants understand how these coordinating bodies function, why multistakeholder collaboration matters in shaping Internet policy, and how young leaders and future IG advocates can meaningfully engage with these structures. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with participants in the Philippines, share insights from my own experience in the internet governance space, and encourage greater regional participation in the ongoing conversations that shape the future of the Internet.
